This Pusher Paddle Message Rant is that Pusher Paddle message space is incredibly valuable advertising space. The customer is viewing your message at the moment he would be choosing your product. But what does he see if the facing is empty? “Fill with XYZ.” Is that the most creative message someone with an advanced degree in Marketing could think of? How about a jingle about the new flavor two rows over, or the larger Family Size Pack of chocolates below? Or better yet for long-term sales and customer appreciation, offer a free pack, if they inform a manager of the “stock out” situation. How creative are you?
