This Artfully Damaged Visual Merchandising is eyecatching. If someone is going to drop or damage your creations, pray that they are this creative. Chips in the vase top are so artfully done you would think they purposefully belong. But look close to see that the shape is nearly but not perfectly symmetrical. Also see a…
“Teapot Coffee Grinder Man,” the origin of this thread, was a true store decor item and fixture. But this One Tin-Man Post Leads to Another reporting looked to be a close cousin so I thought I would link the two in my posts and others that seemed related. And what is this Tin-Man-like construct? I…
When in small, trendy, counter-culture boutique don’t forget to look up for the occasional unique artistic touch. This Boutique’s Sistine Chapel ceiling rendition includes checkerboard and fragmented free-floating facial features. CLICK the thumbnail for a board view, and the Boutique Overhead Ceiling Art gallery for stepped zooms. I liked the artist’s style. In particular, check…
Intricate Blue Patterns etched in the surface of bone-white pedestals call to mind the look of pigmented Scrimshaw art or even Tattoos. This Attention-Compelling Spatulated Art Stands Alone is a surrealistic and curious piece of statuary. I certainly don’t know what it is or what to call or classify it as, but like it, I did. Smooth curves with a puzzling hole in the top. And very strangely spatulated indeed. But curiously interesting from all points of…
This Back-To-School Paper Clip Collage must be a Seasonal item. What better way to store a wide range of Paper Clip sizes than as an artistic collage. And in school, you need a range for anything from small projects to that large independent study or thesis. CLICK through the Back-To-School Paper Clip Collage gallery for…
This Nature Carved Corkscrew Visual For Center-store is too small to be logs, too big for a bundle of twigs, to tall for curved burl root balls, and not at all like driftwood. No wonder this natural wood corkscrew creation is given pride of place center store with plenty of room to walk around and…
Here see Artistic Fashion Accessories Portrayed On Easels. Each accessory is a work of art displayed on stretched canvas and miniature artists’ easels. With enough canvas and easels, you could create endlessly. It’s realistic in the extreme, but I suspect the backgrounds are actually fabric over foam core rather than truly stretched canvas. Easels, too,…
You might think a Medical Clinic strays just a bit over the line of Retail FixturesCloseUp’s mandate, but use of a street art intereptation of a Stethoscope was such masterful entry Branding I hope to shame you retailers into equal creative effort. Through three-dimensional and naturally rusted, the interpretation is almost iconic and immediately communicates…
