This Happy Anniversary Sale Smiley Emoji design seems to be the inspiration for the similar circular Hangrail Promo Flags used to mark racks of discounted items. The sale, in short, was designated a ‘Happy Sale” and the Emoji it seems would agree. He was spotted mostly on handrail-less fixtures where the circular Promo Flags were not functional. And it would seem that the Happy Anniversary Sale Smiley Emoji did a better job anyway. All fixtures thus flagged were sold out. Scroll down for more Happy Sale reporting and detailed coverage of the circular Promo Flags.
