Crayola Gondola Inline Pegboard Display
Within arm’s length of a Crayola Island Gridwall Display was this Crayola Gondola Inline Pegboard Display. Two gondola units were devoted to crayon and marker merchandising, but additional Crayola brand items stretched off inline into the distance. The Pegboard Backer of the Gondola version required Pegboard Hooks, so was a switch from the Grid Hooks of the Island. The Pegboard Hooks employed Molded C-Channel Label Holders rather than the Metal Plate of the Grid Hooks. A further difference was Adhesive Labels on the Pegboard, while Vinyl Pouch and Plain Paper Labels completed the presentation on the Island. I might have specified the same basic Scanning Hook Style with different Backplates to suit the two display surfaces, but a cost comparison may have driven the decision for different designs.
