This Science-Center Fire Alarm Annunciator was almost as interesting an exhibit as many others in the building. It was very publicly displayed in the lobby. It provided a floorpan and locations for major elements with a very tempting “Lamp Test” button. But small print listed a “Tamper Switch” which deterred me from any attempted test of use and functionality. What if it sounded an alarm throughout the building? Though easily seen and accessed by emergency personal, might you want to make your emergency services systems a bit less visible.
