A very complex Front-Rail Label Holder for Solid Shelf design. And let me say from the start it looked marvelous in-store. But I ponder some aspects. Note how much larger the profile is than the actual solid shelf edge? Maybe this is sized to fit larger or a number of the retailer’s shelf fixtures? Note the T-rail near the apex for mounting Shelf Management System dividers and related. Could the profile be destined for double duty as label strip here, and frontrail elsewhere?
Most importantly the label holder angle is best applied to low shelves, while the label holder window (front) does not include the roof overhang necessary to keep out dust and dirt. Designing in from the start, the roof overhang as well as built-in sign clips, are nice extras automatically included with an upscale label holder system. Yes, you can live without them, but why not spec them if they are often no added cost?
