The brilliant red of this row of plastic pedestals draws the eye, even if kitchen appliances are not on your shopping itinerary. A smart color strategy by KitchenAid who brands a single central pedestal to drive home its point. Branding all would have added visual clutter and diluted the brand, not reinforced it. I checked the back of the display and none of the other pedestals bore the KitchenAid logo. So one-in-seven is the correct ratio for category definition here.
