Color Coding Alcohol Content At Shelf Edge
Package style differences and Alcohol-Level rating stamps are color coded to at least hint that there is some difference in these offerings of “Not Your Fathers Root Beer.” The 22 ounce bottles are 10.7% alcohol and labeled so in Blue, the 12-ounce 6-Packs are 5.9% alcohol stamped in Red. No other over effort was made to differentiate or color code at the shelf edge, so you must rely upon the packaging to tell the tale. Would you label unit price by weight or alcohol content, the desirable ingredient? Seen at Wegmans.
