Goat Cheese Merchandising Comes Into Its Own
Goat Cheese is not top-of-mind when I shop for cheese. But here the Goat makes marketing inroads with a cooler and category promotion of its own at Wegmans®. Nicely done overall, the masthead sign says it all with the single word “Goat.” This approach would not work with “Cow.” And other than among those of Mongolian descent, “Mare” would surely not appeal.
