Originally the desktop trash can was an graphic visually communicating how to throw something away. Here that icon moves back to the real world as way to indicate “Trash Only” … not recyclables and such. To me a Galvanized Trach Can communicates clearly the intent … but what of Millenials and later who grew up with Rotomolded Plastic Trash Bins?
