Don’t pick your fixture or sign color without considering its background … particularly if as here, a fine-grained silhouette. I’m sure these look terrific in sketch form and in the shop. But readability suffered when placed in the field. Easy for you and I to second guess and judge after the fact. The trick is getting the concept right before the fact.
