Most retail Metal Plate Scan Hooks incorporate a Scan Arm as long or longer than the Display Arm. The forward position puts the price and product information directly in front of the customer, guards the Display Hook preventing injury, and even adds some small anti-sweep benefit. In this design the Scan Arm is short-sheeted, exposing the Display Arm for easiest product removal. And this display, it was felt only one product/price label was necessary, all other hooks merchandise the same product.
