Though normally as stable as any other hook, who am I to question if the god’s allowed a single Single-Lug, One-Hole Hook to fall into my pocket for detailed examination. Both “Single-Lug” and “One-Hole” are misnomers as you see, but the truer description of “One-Column Hooks” is little better. The obvious advantage of the style is minimal hook width, and greater retail product density for narrow merchandise … shoe laces, strings of beads, curly and straight soda straws, necklaces, watch bands, lanyards, small skeins of yarn, and more. The main photos tells all about this particular Flatback Backplate Single-Lug Display Hook. But take a moment to step through and admire all the views in the gallery below. The extra Backplate hole is non-functional, being the means for hanging for powder coating or plating the hook.
