This successful rare Amber merchant reminds himself of earlier days by retailing with a handcrafted T-stand among his fixtures, complete with shower curtain rings to categorize necklace chain styles. Please, no pity for the proprietor of this traveling jewelry store. Back home in his studio he employs jewelry and craftsman interns, and travels Europe in search of Amber and gems. Though his hours can be long, he probably lives a better life than you or I. Ah, how I remember my days as a Juried Member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftmen, the pre-show artist receptions, and post show Scotch drinking.
