In my own field I sometimes find it useful to look for a solution 180º in the opposite direction of my initial instincts. So if you usually fill a bathtub with water, a 180º reversal of direction would be to fill it with warm fluffy, comfortable drying towels. You might not need this many, but everyone needs towels sooner or later. And if good cotton and heavy bulk, they can be a joy and a luxury worth the price.
