Yes there have been sub-zero nights here in the Northeast, even though days are merely crisp and cool Fall weather. Taking the hint, one store in mostly moderate New Jersey rolled out a bulk galvanized bin display of Earmuffs. All black, they were difficult to recognize at a distance, but the moral is if New Jersey is already marketing Earmuffs in October, you better shake a leg on your own Winter merchandising.
