Don’t lose sight of seating as retail amenity. The longer a customer is in-store the more likely a purchase. And catering to the comfort of a waiting spouse or companion is not only more humane, but leaves them with a better impression of the store, the brand, their wait, and the possibility of return. These trendy geometric fixtures were a minor spectacle in themselves. Positioned along the sunlit windows of a Mercedes Dealership they allowed contemplation of the shiny new vehicles outside, displays of accessories nearby, and direct access to free coffee and beverages.
