Need to focus attention on “Hero” merchandise on Slatwall? Subtle debased concentric circles could help direct the eye to the location of your choosing. While violating the arcs of the ever expanding rings with additional items might also add interest. I wish I had the opportunity to play with Visually Merchandising this surface but tripped over it online and not in real life. Maybe some cut-and-paste of stock images as overlay in Photoshop would satisfy my creative urges. If you are intrigued too, you might just “con” a sample from the manufacturer, Wind Mill Slatwall. As “professional fixture journalist” free sheets of slat wall might damage my reputation for integrity, as well as cause my wife to to moan all the louder “What are you playing with now?” and “Where are you going to put that?” So I’m stuck with cut-and-paste in Photoshop.
