A shallow cut in the face of this Label Strip allows it to bend at 90º and turn a right angle corner. In production this might be done via “kiss die” where a cutting die barely touches the surface. But given that most extrusion forming, punching, and cutting is done in-line, this might be a shallow blade or saw cut. It is ingenious none the less, and cheaper and less labor intensive that assembling individual separate straight pieces. FixturesCloseUp earned its pay today with this tricky find.
