A good example of shelf management system applied to soft goods … or I should say semi-shelf managed in that this system employs a static backstop rather than automatic feed and facing. This unit exhibited top-of-the-line heavy clear acrylic continuous front productstop and dividers. But a range of other alternatives exist including individual facing productstops (tailored to lane width rather than continuous); extruded and open wire dividers (often less costly); spring and gravity-feed; built-in or add-on label holder systems; and even bar-mounted trays to serve up the soft goods. Shelf management systems are not yet widespread in clothing, but are expanding into the market starting with savvy retailers. This was a good looking system that might save on initial cost by eliminating moveable auto-feed pusher paddles in favor of the fixed backstop. Only you can decide your priorities and features that benefit you specific situation.
