I’m not sure what exotic gourmet dish begins with whole, unpeeled pears, lichen (maybe meant to be parsley or broccoli) and a spring of what I guess Sage or Thyme (guess better if you can). But it is certainly an arresting set of food props for pots, pans or kitchen appliances. Alessi® is a designer cookware and utensil company from Italy. Maybe their propping instructions were wrongly translated or misunderstood? Or then again maybe this is the basis of an Alessi family favorite?
