Klout Social Media Monitoring

Who would imagine you could get famous (or relatively famous) blogging about retail fixtures, pegboard hooks, label holders and such? Apparently you can, for Klout social media influence monitor scores FixturesCloseUp at 41, putting me and my humble blog in the top 50% of Social Media users. Maybe you are not impressed with a rank merely in the top half, but consider the topic: retail components and small scale fixture hardware, with a bit of point-of-purchase and small item visual merchandising thrown in. Also consider that Klout monitors over 500,000,000 profiles and 200TB of online data and competition includes personalities like Lady Gaga, Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama. Maybe not so shoddy after all for a narrow niche topic, and a small town boy.
