Maybe its a guy thing that we love cigar boxes and similar containers for our tools and treasures. It is something of a girl thing in cosmetics too, for my wife always shops the bag-or-tote-free-with-cosmetics-purchase offers more than the pure cosmetics. Is Stila® in a Cigar Box a hit? I can only comment on the approach to merchandising, not the result. The boxes, though hinged and clasped, were paper covered not natural wood. I might have risked the wood, and designed it so that only my Stila cosmetics could outfitted it. If the box was a convenient travel carry, looked good and functioned well on the cosmetics table, extra refill sales might result. CLICK the gallery for angled views of the display and packaging.
