Coming from a wireforming background I have an appreciation for both the simplicity and trickiness of this step-and-repeat shape for eyewear display. Why get carried away with multiple hooks when you could craft a single multiple nose-bump frontwire? Minimally it speeds assembly and reduces material and manufacturing costs.
