I had known of this technique before, just never seen merchandised in retail. Grow your watermelon in a confining container, and they will take on that shape, as did this boxy watermelon. The shape would surely create a sensation in-store. It might promote sales … or hinder them if thought mutant or GM (Genetically Modified). From the practical point of view, this is a winner.
