More for fun than for sales or celebration of the season, this magnetic quiver allowed positioning of festive balloons around the store. Why did the balloons feature Christmas designs, in green, even long after after St. Patricks Day? I can’t explain. But if you didn’t look too closely, you didn’t mind and they do brighten the store and highlight specials. Old Navy might even care to reward inventive staff for using up old promotional materials while increasing sales. No one else seemed to focus on the out-of-season theme except roving retail reporters like me.
