My father … (scroll down to Kadysewski) … took great pride in offering only USDA Choice meats in his SuperMarket. The Grocer’s tradition of offering quality as service (and a lure) to customers continues. Here carried to the extreme of a mega wall sign. With meats positioned back-of-store, this sign speaks out in a very loud voice across the entire selling floor. I call the strategy a variant of the classic “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants” … USDA Choice is recognized for quality, and this store pegs its own reputation to that.
