In my day, “to Narc” was to tell the authorities of illicit activities … in particular MY illicit activities. In this new age maybe “Narcing” is appropriate and respectable in order to subdue violent individuals and prevent deaths, injury, and psychopathic activity. How does one tell a disturbed individual from a harmless yet quirky free-spirit? We are all left to our own judgement on that issue. But if you are uncomfortable or suspicious, there is a QR Code as well as an App for that. At least there is in my home state of Pennsylvania. And don’t forget the old-fashioned way to SOS via 9-1-1.
