Weaving an interesting attention compeller that echos your brand into visual merchandising is just smart marketing. I liked the contrast of a handcrafted model boat within the more expected retail outfitting. Of course it explicitly communicates “Nautica” as well as unexplicitally conveying tones of adventure, outdoors, rugged, leisure and other intangible benefits. Most interestingly I liked the miniature Nautica poster more than the full size siganage. Too many hours spent building architectural models in grad school I suppose.
