A true fixture dichotomy. The C-Clamp base is very heavy-duty in construction. While the fragile mirror is unbacked, un-protected by a wrap around frame, and merely held by grips. It showed no evidence of chipping along the edge. Maybe it is out of harms way being above waist height and on duty in apparel. Still I might worry a bit. As for use, it was highly fingerprinted so a popular amenity in this department as shoppers adjusted for best view. Maybe “Clean Mirrors” needs to be more prominent on the janitorial list to maintain store image?
