This Mall Navigation sign is top-of-the-line in design and materials. Seems a shame to have to warn patrons not to use the adjacent elevators with a distracting “Use The Stairs” emergency graphic. Is the layout asymmetry purposeful? Does the graphic point toward the closest stairwell?  Only a measuring tape would tell if the alternate escape route is a shortcut or not. I thought not. CLICK the thumbnail for a details of the escape directive.
