One of the tenants of efficiency and cost reduction in mass production is the use of common interchangeable parts. Here two nearly adjacent hooks, one Straight-Entry and the other Saddle Mount Bar, give an opportunity for very explicit demonstration of the principle. Note the identical frontwire configuration whether drop-in to the Straight-Entry Plastic Backplate or welded to the Saddle-mount Bar Backplate. Of course many lines of hooks from many manufacturers exhibit this kind of commonality and efficient design. These two just happened to be with short hook’s throw (like a stones’s throw just applied to retail) away. CLICK thumbnail to see the Bar Hook on duty retailing Flip Flops. An added benefit is that both hooks make the same merchandising presentation at the same angle across the store.
