One tier high, these pallet-like plinths are Stackable Retail Dunnage Racks. But stacked they become full-fledged shelving units. The uprights seemed detachable, as alternate lengths were seen in use. A bit informal for some retail channels, but perfect for mass merchandisers, warehouse clubs and the like.
