Normally classed as a Double Arm Utility / Broom Hook, this 3″ grid-mount fixture takes on a new duty when inverted. By anchoring the tail of long handled items it organizes the display and helps force creation of extra display space between handles.
To my mind the overall display was so dense that the visual clutter did not allow the eye to easily distinguish all the items. But an alternate and equally valid argument could be that maximum density itself was the final goal … someone in need of an ordinary everyday household utensil would shop the display to find their item … finding other useful gadgets along the way.
