With an ongoing Bell Jar thread, how could I resist this upscale point-of-purchase display. Though glass Bell Jars rather than plastic would have added even more to the brand image (but probably were not practical from a safety viewpoint).
Photo taken in an earthquake zone or retail space abroad a ship at sea? No. I grew tired of my flat “documentary style” photography and elected an Oblique Angle (a.k.a. Slanted Shot or Dutch Tilt) … which by the way happened to encompass all of the composition better. Sigh. But that’s as edgy and artsy as I can get in a blog on retail store micro fixtures. Nevertheless my brother Ed, a Professor of Cinematography, would be proud of me. CLICK the thumbnail for a larger, albeit dull and boring, close-up view of a single Bell Jar.
