From across the selling floor these looked like Jeans for Pygmies. Not so, child size, though possibly of the cut that once was called “Husky” when it was politically correct and less than a plurality of our population was over weight.

I understand this merchandising approach for adult jeans where there is a wide variety of cuts and fits inseams and waists. But echoing adult merchandising to short wide children with a single cut of Jean escapes me. Maybe it works though. It did get me to cross the store to see what’s up.
