Fixture-wise, this upscale sunglass merchandiser combines sophisticated, frosted translucent plastic with gleaming metallic, finial-equipped struts to catch the temple arms. But what really caught my eye was the bulbous anti-theft device fitted to the sunglass nose bridge. The merchandiser manufacturer went to extreme lengths to produce an attractive display and present the sunglasses elegantly. But when I try them on, the security device makes my nose look like a miniature Hunchback of Notre Dame. I can’t tell if the glasses make me look good or not. I think the display manufacturer and anti-theft creator should have a discussion to resolve their cross purposes.
