This Slotwall and Slatwall Sock J-Hooks example from two distinct retailers and display surfaces come to the same merchandising conclusion. Nothing compares to a J-Hook for fixturing bulky socks in retail. Here Flatback Slot and Slatwall J-Hooks make for an orderly display while providing positive retention of the product on the hook.
Though I am a bit puzzled by the short height of the J-Hook Backplate. The purpose of a Flat Backplate is to spread the load and protect the display surface from damage. I might limit these Hooks to a very light load (socks?) and a very short length (Here only 4 packs deep). If you need to display more merchandise, or hooks that can be used on other displays and for other products, you might consider standard height Flat Backplates.
