Newer, more functional flip-front hooks have a great articulated appeal over stationary right-angle-mount scan hooks. Plus they avoid the problem of stocking different backplates and label holders for each different right-angle hook gauge. Here an enterprising retailer has mounted a flip-front label holder on a right angle hook merging SOME of the advantages of each (You still need different label holders for each wire gauge and the the flip action sticks a bit). Still it is an interesting concept. Maybe someone will perfect it? If you have a solution that solves all cross-over problems post it as a comment. Until then you might prefer to gain all the advantages of one breed of hook, rather than a partial mix of both.
