This Grid-based Open Wire Shelf certainly looks more like Grid than typical Open Wire Shelving, This unusual system sports a C-channel edge treatment. A Plexiglas sheet provides a level surface for display, but negates the open-wire’s normal ability to shed dust and dirt. It does, however, permit extra light to pass through to the shelves below.
Does anyone have experience with this system? How do costs compare to normal shelving? How badly does Plexiglas scratch and haze over time?
