How to Fixturing Unbalanced Packages? This off-center package design requires a centered hook as well as a single outrigger hook to the left, both with heavy-duty pegboard backplates to spread the load. The resulting dual front label holders, however, detract from the presentation and appeal. Instead, why not position the two hooks both outboard of the center at third- or quarter-points? Or leave hooks as shown and severely miter the right corner of this package, and in the triangular space created cross-sell a wedge-shaped accessory pack of bits or blades. But second-guessing after the fact by a so-called blog critique is easy and unfair. Who knows what restrictions were imposed upon the package designer. To paraphrase the well-know quote “Those who can [design] do, those who can’t, blog about it.”
