Though upper Slatwall Hooks are lightly stocked to permit photography, this application hints at the subtle anti-sweep capabilities of even an ordinary Display J-hook. While small carded items might round the crook en masse, bulkier packaging tends to jam up hindering sweeping. And the extreme length of these combined with bulky packaging makes it hard to remove the entire hook and stash elegantly and unseen in handbag or carryall. A more convoluted Anti-Sweep Hook is a step up in security, but anything that slows and calls attention to the thief’s action makes him think twice and deters some pilferage.
