Whatever happened to free maps at the local gas station? Admittedly a thing of the past even for me. I do benefit from the Google Maps navigation capability of my Verizon Droid smartphone. But I still carry paper maps against the possibility of a massive ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP) and loss of technological civilization in the wink of an eye.
