A sweeping vista of product all fixtured in a first-class fashion with wire fencing. This proves what can be done with this venerable approach. Visibility and organization is maintained, while open wire sheds dust and dirt and remains bright and clean in appearance. Notice the use of higher fencing on the bottom two shelves, and that the base shelf extends into the aisle creating a bin-like effect easily shopped from above. Was this a trendy party store specialty retailer whose profitability depends upon classy merchandising?  No. This is a dollar store, and among the most appealing I have seen. As such it qualifies for “Best Practices” in this category.
