How forlorn. Even I was surprised at the sorry state of toilet plunger merchandising across retail. These images are from a well-known home improvement warehouse (left) and equally well-known mass merchandiser (right). But the chains are not to be criticized. This is a mature product line where even a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 promotion and endcap, power aisle location would have a hard time lifting sales. Still even toilet plungers deserve their day in the sun.
