Sophisticated shelf-edge label systems are available with mother and daughter strips accommodating both promotional and price labels. But this bullnose attached to the shelf surface not edge, added no label holder functions, and left the existing C-channel free. Sophisticated shelf management systems can feature bullnose frontrails as product stops, but this installation has no dividers or pushers. This strip is pure and utter branding while helping creating category segmentation (department-within-a-department). It was mounted on all shelf levels on one side of the aisle for half the length and may have been CP manufacturer specific. But exactly what should I call it? (Called a Shelf Shroud, named provided by Kristen below) And would you want the branding without the labeling benefit or product organizing features? As retailer maybe no, as brand manufacturer maybe yes. In any event it looked great.
