An array of baseball gloves are merchandised via specialty trays or racks for pegboard. The racks seem particularly effective if the gloves are “faced” in a fingers up posture (see bottom row). There is something a bit more inspiring about a baseball glove straining upwards as if for a fly ball, than hanging limp and impotent downward. A subtle psychological advantage, but an advantage nonetheless. And as you know, in retail (and retail fixtures) we all strain for even fractional sales advantages.
