Normally a retailer or brand manufacturer might be concerned about the loss of selling space and facings caused by the cumulative width of dividers in a shelf management system. This made-to-order wireform system seems to benefit the small-scale spice jars by providing visual breathing space between rows, increasing shopability, branding, and simplifying selection in a complex category. The liberal spacing also provides an upscale note to this “gourmet” version of a famous spice manufacturers offerings. Wireform systems can also sometimes offer cost advantages.
SEE “Shelf Management for Small Items Redux” for a similar, but adjustable wireform system.
